It is very common for the Dutch to ride bicycle two up, and this e-bike simply makes the experience more comfortable with a big,

bench-like saddle and the electric assistance. Also, wherever you may stop pedaling, with its built-in footrest and sturdy stand, it turns into

an instant street furniture. It is about the connectivity of the people sitting together on the saddle, and also about the connectivity of the people and the city.

   The e-bike was designed by a team of students of Design Academy Eindhoven for Swiss design electronics company Punkt. The final model was produced by Torino Crea to be presented in Salone del Mobile 2017 in Milan, and won the 1st place in the competition against two other European prestigious design schools, Royal College of Art, London, and Ecal, Lausanne.
